DHK’s Design Director, Tosh Taketomo, has over 40 years of experience in the planning and design of award winning local and international projects. Over his career he has been a Principal, Vice President and senior design leader at prominent architectural firms, winning multiple design competitions and developing major commercial, academic, cultural, residential and mixed-use projects on important urban sites. His work has been widely recognized for design excellence.
Tosh leads and oversees DHK projects with firm Principals, and applies his unique experience on a wide range of building types, to achieve a high standard of integrated design at every scale, from concept to execution. He was a top graduate at Harvard, and has taught there and at other area professional schools, and served on design awards juries for the AIA and BSA.
